Andre has over 40 years of experience working in the mining industry across more than 30 countries. He holds a BSc in Geological Engineering and an MSc in mineral exploration. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in the growth of several publicly listed companies and has been instrumental in numerous significant gold and copper discoveries. Andre is fluent in French, English, and Arabic. He has extensive experience working with international investors in the natural resources sector.
Sophie holds a master's degree in International and European Law, with a focus on intellectual property and business law. These extensive qualifications include human rights, and she is fluent in the French language.
As a senior lawyer, she began her career with an American Law firm before becoming the legal counsel for the merger and acquisition of an FTSE 100 natural resource company based in Monaco, by a leading Emirati group's African branch.
Sophie has extensive experience supporting international investors in the natural resources sector and possesses in-depth knowledge of the African market, regularly structuring and negotiating a wide range of complex documents, including those for governments.
Ali holds a master's degree in Geology and brings over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, working as a Geologist and Geophysicist. His expertise spans Gold, Copper, Lithium, Cobalt, Diamonds, and underwater research. Ali is highly skilled in geographic information systems and data science. He has also led multiple gold exploration programs across Africa and was co-founder of a geological and mining services company based in Burkina Faso.
Jonathon is an Architect and Architectural Designer with over 20 years of professional experience across the UK, Spain, and wider Europe. He holds a BSc (Hons) and BArch in Architecture, and is an International Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He is also a registered architect in Spain with the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM). Bilingual in English and Spanish, Jonathon’s international insight and collaborative working style make him a valuable asset to any project team. A key negotiator for the company and a lead design specialist.
Dr John Madiro is a Kimberley Process and Dodd Frank 1502 compliant solid state physicist with structural interests in Diamond Lattice Dynamics and fractal crystallography. He demands a strong dominion in rough and polished pricing, as well as an exhaustive knowledge of the mining industry overall. For the past 20 years John has combined his stellar technical knowledge while working and residing in Malaysia, Bermuda, UK, and Cuba. Dr Madiro is a strategist who has cross-continent practical experience of operations in all aspects of the minerals and commodities market.
Luis De Vierna had a degree in Sociology and Political Sciences, and a degree in IT Technical Agricultural Engineering. Between 1996 and 2013 Luis was part of the executive Council NGO Habitfrica under the honorary presidency of HRH Queen Sofia. Overseeing more than 100 operatives, he worked in Mozambique, Namibia, Angola, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mali, Niger and Morrocco. Luis has in recent years managed a 40,000 hectare Agri. Project in DR Congo and developed the patent for an adaptation machine for organic waste for animal feed, organic fertilisers, and biomass energy.
James is known for his contribution to Africa-EU relations during his role as senior diplomat to the Embassy of Malawi to Belgium and the European Union. He served as an advisor to Invest Africa and regularly appears on television, radio, and is featured in media, providing analysis of political and socio-economic affairs. James has provided strategic counsel in presidential elections across Africa. He is an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, and holds a bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and History. He has an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics.
Paul is a trade and commodities finance specialist with over 30 years of experience providing structured finance facilities to commodity traders, producers, oil, mining, and agricultural groups. Paul has led a decorated banking and finance career globally. He was Vice President of Commodities at Citibank in 2004. Throughout his career, he has held C-Suite positions at UFJ Bank, Wargurg Dillon Read, Hill Samuel Bank, ING Bank, National Bank of Australasia, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe.
Nigel holds a BArch in Architecture and a BSc (Hons) in Architecture from Cardiff University. He also holds a DEC in Pure and Applied Science from Marianopolis College in Canada. Fluent in French and English, Nigel has years of experience as a project manager at companies including Sir Robert McAlpine and Capita Symonds. This experience led him to become the director of operations with Four Link in 2015. Since then, he has been instrumental in several large-scale infrastructure projects in Africa, including the construction of an oil refinery, and a road and village design with construction.
